Nursing Explained is an education channel for nursing students and nurses. Most training tells you what to do; we focus on why, because understanding the reason is what helps you apply it safely in a real situation.

We use Australian standards and guidelines as our worked example. Where practice differs by country, state or facility, the video says so, and you should always follow your local policy.

Every video is scripted from named public sources, which are listed with it. The hosts, Mia and Josh, and Kip the koala are drawn characters, and the voices are AI-generated. Spotted an error? Tell us and we'll correct it and pin the fix.

Nursing Explained is independent. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any regulator, TAFE, university or health service.
